Privacy Policy

This page says what HT Salon (Heads Turn LLC, doing business as HT Salon) collects when you use our website and app, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Last updated October 9, 2026.

What you give us

• Your name and how to reach you. Your mobile number or email signs you in (we text or email you a one-time code; there is no password). The front desk uses them to confirm, remind and reach you about your visits.
• About your hair. When you first book you can tell us about color or chemical treatments, allergies and sensitivities, and anything else we should know. Your stylist keeps notes and formulas from your visits so the next one starts where the last one ended.
• Your visits and purchases. Appointments, the services you had, products you bought or asked us to set aside for pickup (name, phone or email, the items and any note), gift certificates you buy or receive (who it is to and from, and a message if you add one), referrals, and your Beauty Bank balance if you are a member.
• Pictures you save. If you save inspiration pictures in the app, they stay in your account for you and your stylist.
• Messages. Texts you send us and questions you ask our assistant on the website or in the app.

Cards and payments

Card numbers never go through our own system. A card on file for booking is taken and held by our payment provider; our system records only that a card is on file. Payments at the salon run through our card terminal. Today, booking and the card on file are handled through Booker, the scheduling service we have used for years.

Website visits

We count visits to our website: how many, roughly where from (the city and region our hosting provider guesses from your internet address), which pages, where you came from (Google, Instagram and so on) and whether you were on a phone or a computer. These are daily totals; nothing about who you are. Your internet address itself is not stored. It is used only in the moment to limit abuse, for example too many sign-in attempts.

Who sees it inside the salon

Your stylist sees your name, your visit history, your notes and formulas, and messages you send them through the app. Stylists never see your phone number or email; the app lets them message you without it. The front desk and managers see your contact details so they can reach you about appointments.

Services that help us run

We use outside companies only to run our own business, and only with what they need for the job:

• A texting provider delivers our texts and your replies. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our text messaging terms.
• An email provider sends sign-in codes, gift certificates and receipts.
• Our website is hosted by Vercel. Booking runs through Booker. Our online shop ships through Salon Interactive; when you check out there, their privacy policy applies to that order.
• Our assistant on the website, in the app and in texts is powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. To write a reply it is sent your message and the facts it needs, such as the salon's services and, if you are signed in or texting from your own number, your own upcoming visits. It books nothing on its own; our system re-checks every booking.
• Gift certificates can be added to Apple Wallet; the pass holds the certificate's code and balance.
• If you turn on notifications in the app, Apple delivers them to your device. You can turn them off in your phone's settings.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your visits, notes and formulas while you are a client, so your stylist can look back at what worked. Ask us and we will remove your information, except records we must keep for taxes and payments.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts; START to begin again.
• Turn app notifications on or off in your phone's settings.
